Hello, Thank you very much for your interest in becoming an ICCE Sales Representative. My name is Michael Joop and I am the Trainee & Trabalho Remunerado program director. As we are looking for representatives with High Intermediate to Advanced English level, the information below will be in English. You also will communicate with me on a regular base in English. | Currently, these programs are very
interesting for many young students and young professionals in Brazil.
You might have seen different educational companies which offer similar
or the same programs. ICCE’s goal is to provide to the potential candidate complete information and, depending on the program, additional services no other agency offers. Our overall goal is to match the right candidate to the right program. If we think a candidate is not prepared for one of the programs, we will not sell the program to the candidate |
at this time. Instead, we will communicate what is missing to have a successful experience, so the candidate can prepare him/herself for the program. Our other goal is to achieve complete customer satisfaction. We achieve this in providing detailed and realistic information about the job, employer, accommodation and other important things. All offered programs in the US and Canada are pre-visited by me. On the other hand, the candidate has to show that he/she has the profile requirements to participate in the program. | |

| About
you: We are looking for young and motivated individuals. You should have finished your University and traveled abroad. The ideal thing would be for you to have already done a course abroad or even a Trabalho Remunerado experience before. This is important because this is what you will be selling and, if you have a previous experience, it will be much easier for you. Your potential client will be much more comfortable because you are offering a program you have done before. He/she will think what was good for you is also good for him/her. A good level of English is also required as you need to conduct evaluation interviews with the potential candidates in English. After you finished the interview, you need to write down the candidates answers in English. In addition you need to be able to judge the candidates potential to participate in the particular program. If you think the candidate is not ready yet you will not sell the program. If the candidate is good you need to assist him/her in recording a video where he/she will present him/herself in English to the potential employer abroad. |
ICCE will provide all marketing material but
you
need to do all marketing activities in your city/area. This means that
you need to go on a weekly base to the Universities to hang up posters
which talk about our programs. You need to talk to University
coordinators who might help you to get in front of potential
candidates. You should attend job fairs and other events where
potential candidates are present. You need to research these events and
make sure that you can participate.
After getting potential candidates you need to inform them about all program details and follow up on them. You need to have very good product knowledge and you need to be able to follow the sales procedure every program has. You need to be friendly and highly motivated. If you think we should tell you everyday what to do then that this is not the right position for you. ICCE will not pay you a monthly salary. Instead we will pay you a commission per sold program. This means that it is in your hands how much you will earn. If you sell a good number then you will earn a good commission as well. ICCE will support you a lot but in the end you are responsible for your success. |

your setup: You need a kind of office environment where you can receive potential candidates and their parents. This can be an office on your own or shared with another person. You need to have a space where you can record a video without to much surrounding noise. You should have a good functional PC with a good Internet connection and a headset or Mic and speakers attached to it. You should have a dedicated telephone line. This should be the telephone number where potential customers can call you. We will distribute this number on all |
marketing material. If you are not in the office another person should be able to take a message or the telephone call should automatically be rerouted to your Mobile phone for example. If you do not have anybody else to answer your calls when you are away from the office please check with your local telephone company if this service is available. From our experience an answering machine is not very useful as people do not leave messages. A scanner would be very useful as we need to receive the candidate’s application. A webcam will be provided by ICCE if you do not have one. |
